Job Description:
As a Medical Assistant you are a critical member of the clinic team! You will engage directly with our patients and work to an exceptional patient experience by performing a wide variety of clinical and administrative tasks to support patient care delivery.
You will be provided with the opportunity to cross-train in other areas of the clinic and will be able to use your problem-solving skills to overcome challenges in a fast-paced environment.
Your duties will be delegated and supervised by the Provider (Physician/Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant).
DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Communicating with patients, front desk and clinical staff, and providers.
Recording patient history and personal information.
Measuring vital signs.
Assisting providers with patient examinations.
Preparing blood samples for laboratory tests.
Entering patient information into the software system.
Providing back up coverage for the front desk as needed.
Other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS:
High School diploma or GED.
A minimum of 6 months experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred.
Experience with electronic medical records preferred.
Required to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
Recommended Skills Certified Nurse Practitioner Clinical Works Communication Electronic Medical Record Health Care Problem Solving Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
